The Governor has communicated the easing of COVID restrictions related to the Executive Order. Virginia is able to take these steps as a result of increasing vaccination rates, dramatically declining COVID-19 cases, declining hospitalizations, statewide test positivity rate, and revised federal guidelines.
Considering the easing of the Executive Order:
We will not be requiring distancing in worship services.
We will not have capacity limits on worship services.
While masks for those who are not yet vaccinated are recommended and should be worn, we will not require them for any age and will not be asking whether anyone is vaccinated or non-vaccinated.
Through all of our safety protocols and procedures over the past year, God has protected us. We trust Him now as we move forward to begin bringing back important ministry to the church and community.
We will continue to vigorously and consistently clean our facilities, ask congregants to monitor and report symptoms when feeling ill. Those desiring to wear masks can do so, and plenty of room can be found for those desiring appropriate distancing.
We have Adult, Student, and Kid's Ministry at our 9:55 AM & 11:20 AM hours. While we are excited to re-engage, we need volunteers to make this re-launch successful. For more information on what volunteer positions are needed please CLICK HERE.
